Irrational Fears

Fear is the brain's natural response to the unknown or to a perceived or imagined threat, it is there to keep us alert and ultimately safe. However, when a fear becomes irrational and stops you from doing the things you enjoy, it can develop into a phobia. Actual or imagined events, items or activities can trigger a phobia. They can cause the fight or flight response to start. The more times we experience a phobic response, the stronger it can become. Indeed, the stronger the phobic response gets, the more likely we are to experience it happening again and again.

Simple Phobias

It is good to know,  that Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can often help most simple phobias within just 3-4 sessions. General Anxiety Disorders

More complex phobias such as agoraphobia, claustrophobia and emetephobia may be helped with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Anticipatory nausea and needle phobia in cancer patients can be quite common and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help to deal with these troublesome anxiety states.

Situation Specfic  Anxiety
